About WCP Comix

I have been drawing all my life, and have always loved to create, as well as comics, so a few years ago, I started my own little, bootleg comic company! First and foremost, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST (well, technically I am, seeing as how I've been paid for my artwork before, but yea, I mainly mean as comic book artist.) To be honest, I don't know shit about making comics lol. I'm not gonna let that stop me, though! I don't have all the fancy, big comic paper and all that that pro artists have (I do have the pens at least!) I straight up use packs of printing paper! (I'm sure the purists are groaning right now, but IDGAF! - Wanna fight about it?

In MY opinion, what matters is the art and the story, mostly the stories! If you're not a prude, I just ask for ppl to just give my bootleg comix a chance! I really think I have dope stories to tell! Actually, I have created an ENTIRE UNIVERSE already of characters and stories, and these characters and stories actually exist together! I have taken cues from some of my favorite authors, directors, and others to help me flesh out my stuff. I have over 20 titles that I'd like to eventually work on and release, but we'll see... Below are two of the projects that I have worked on. The first, "Tales Of Gilurra," was my attempt/nod to sword-and-sorcery/high fantasy, a comic in the vein of Conan The Barbarian, Skyrim, Legend Of Zelda, Lord Of The Rings, and more... I actually finished the first issue back in 2016, and tried a GoFundMe campaign to get it printed, but it was unsucessful. I'll probably try to re-release it soon, mostly just as a digital comic for the time being. The other current series I'm working on is, "Shaddow Falls," a horror graphic novel. I'm doing it in a black-and-white, crosshatch style of art (that was influenced by an old comic series from the 80s called, 'Deadworld', as well as 'The Walking Dead' comic style.

Shaddow Falls is sort of in the spirit of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Twilight Zone. As of today, I'm about halfway through with the first issue, and I'm thinking of trying to do a Kickstarter for it. I will also be straight-up printing issues myself via Staples (It's b/w anyway and the test pics I printed looked pretty good) just to get it out for ppl to read locally. I will also probably do a digital sale as well. Anyway click on each of the covers below to learn more! Oh, you can also follow WCP Comix on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/wcpcomix
