In Mid/Fall 2002, SOT went into the studio and began recording their debut album, "Secrets Of Thirteen-Self titled." 75 Sampler CD's were pressed up and given away on Halloween, at a Hangman's House of Horrors, when Insane Clown Posse was there, promoting their album, the Wraith-Shangri-La. Every Sampler was quickly grabbed up, and are now out-of-print and very hard to find.

**Funny story about the samplers: People that got the samplers quickly noticed that aside from our two tracks, Bad Dreamz and Sycko, that there was a 3rd and 4th track on the sampler; none other than Insane Clown Posse's singles for their album, Wraith- Shang-Ri La. Now understandibly, from the outset, this looked like we did that intentionally to snake ICP and use them to push our shit. NOT TRUE. This was simply an accident due to our damn studio guy.

   I had downloaded the two ICP tracks (which were avail. for download at the time) to bump myself, and being a scrub, I only had one blank CD available, so burned our sampler track and the two ICP tracks together on one cd just for myself. Well when I took the CD to the presser guy at the studio, I specifically told this dude, "ONLY COPY THE FIRST TWO TRACKS," Well, of course, he didn't fucking listen, and just copied the whole damn thing.

   After listening to the finished sampler, I was like, "Aww, fuck!", cuz again, it looked like we threw them on there to snake attention for us. Well, at that point, there was nothing we could do about it, so we was like fuckit. Well, we ended up giving away all the samplers, and lo and behold, I talked to Violent J, and gave him one. I was like, "He prolly like fuck SOT for puttin our shit on there!", lol but again, it wasen't our fault!!! Anyway like I said, funny story.
